For the Third Year in a row, Zuber Lawler Earns #1 Spot in Law360’s 2023 Diversity Snapshot Survey

August 1, 2023 | Press

Zuber Lawler is proud to announce that for the third year in a row it has been ranked #1 in Law360’s 2023 Diversity Snapshot, which measures diversity in the equity ranks of law firms across the country, sharing the honor with three other law firms. Zuber Lawler also ranked in the top 10 out of all law firms participating in the survey nationwide based on the diversity of all partners and associates.

The 2023 law firm survey reveals slow progress in diversifying attorney ranks, with only 17% of firms meeting diversity benchmarks. By contrast, the majority of the occupants of Zuber Lawler’s leadership posts throughout the firm are likewise minorities.

“We are pleased to be named first in two categories listed in Law 360’s 2023 Diversity Snapshot. This recognition exemplifies how critical diversity is to Zuber Lawler,” stated Eileen Letts, the Chicago-based Chief Administrative Partner of the firm. “Our firm is committed to making sure we look like the world. We believe we are better lawyers when we welcome and embrace diversity and we will continue to do so.”

Zuber Lawler’s commitment to diversity is enhanced with the help of Ms. Letts, who is on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Minority and Women-Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF). Ms. Letts also co-authored the acclaimed book “Left Out and Left Behind,” organized by the Long-Term Careers for Women in Law Initiative, and published by the American Bar Association.
